Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

This policy explains your right to cancel a purchase and how refunds work. It forms part of our Terms of Service and is offered by NOTESMEDIA OÜ, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Harju Maakond, Estonia (VAT EE102790878).

1. What you are buying

Everything sold on this site is digital content delivered online: study cards, practice questions, review tools and written guidance. There is no physical product and nothing is shipped.

2. Your right of withdrawal (EU and EEA consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you normally have 14 days from the date of purchase to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

There is an important exception for digital content. Under EU consumer law, you lose the right of withdrawal once we begin supplying the digital content, provided that you have:

  • given your prior express consent for us to begin supplying it immediately, before the 14-day period ends; and
  • acknowledged that by doing so you lose your right of withdrawal.

Because access to our content is granted immediately after payment, we ask for both of these confirmations at checkout. If you give them and access is opened, the 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies to that purchase.

If you do not give that consent, access is not opened immediately and your 14-day right is preserved. If you then withdraw within 14 days without having accessed the content, you receive a full refund.

3. How to withdraw

To exercise a right of withdrawal that still applies, tell us clearly before the 14 days expire. You can use our contact page or write to NOTESMEDIA OÜ, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Harju Maakond, Estonia. Please include the email address used for the purchase and the date of purchase.

You may use the model withdrawal form set out in the EU Consumer Rights Directive, but you are not required to.

Where a withdrawal is valid, we refund all payments received for that purchase without undue delay, and in any case within 14 days of being informed. We refund using the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged a fee for the refund.

4. Consumers outside the EU and EEA

If you are resident outside the EU and EEA, the statutory withdrawal right described above may not apply to you. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights available under the law of your country of residence continue to apply. Our voluntary refund practice in section 5 applies to you as well.

5. Refunds outside the statutory right

Beyond your statutory rights, we will consider a refund request where the service has not worked as described — for example, if you were charged twice for the same plan, if a purchase did not grant the access it should have, or if a technical fault on our side prevented you from using the content and we could not resolve it.

We generally do not refund simply because you did not use the content during the period you purchased, because you changed your mind after using it, or because an examination result did not meet your expectations. Our materials do not guarantee any result.

To request a refund, contact us with the email address used for the purchase, the date, and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

6. Fixed-period access, not a subscription

Every plan sold on this site is a one-time purchase that opens access for a fixed number of days counted from the date of purchase. When that period expires, access ends automatically.

There is no subscription. Nothing renews, and no payment recurs. Nothing is taken after the payment you make at checkout, so there is no cancellation step and no date to keep track of.

7. Buying another period

If you want to keep using the service after your access ends, you buy a plan again. Each purchase is a separate contract, and the withdrawal rules in section 2 apply to it exactly as they did to your first purchase.

If an amount is ever taken when you did not complete a purchase, contact us and we will refund it.

8. How refunds are paid

Refunds are returned to the original payment method through our authorised payment provider. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer, and is typically 5 to 10 working days after we approve the refund.

9. If we cannot agree

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a refund request, and you are a consumer in the EU, you may use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
