Plans, access and how the platform works

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions that come up most often about IMAT and private medical school preparation, what a plan includes, and how payment works.

Plans and payment

What you are buying.

Do all plans include the same content?+

Yes. There is no cheaper tier that withholds part of the system, and no separate purchase for the private medical school tracks. The plans differ only in how long access lasts.

Why are there three access periods?+

Candidates start at very different points: some are closing a single weakness weeks before the exam, others are preparing across a whole cycle. Because the plans differ only in length, you pay for the time you actually need rather than for a different set of material. Access runs from the day you buy, so there is no advantage to buying at a particular time of year.

Will I be charged again automatically?+

No. Every plan is a one-time purchase that opens access for a fixed number of days from the date you buy. When that period ends, access ends and nothing further is taken. There is no subscription, so there is no renewal date and nothing to cancel. If you want to carry on afterwards, you buy a plan again.

Are the private medical school tracks sold separately?+

No. Every plan opens every preparation track — the public IMAT route and all of the English-taught private medical schools — so you are not locked to the school you picked first, and you do not pay again if you add another. See Pricing.

Are prices shown in EUR only?+

Yes. All prices are shown and charged in EUR. If your card or account is denominated in another currency, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees.

Can I start for free?+

Yes. A free account opens the free IMAT practice set, your dashboard, and basic progress tracking on that set, so you can see how the system behaves before deciding anything. Study Cards and the full practice library are part of paid access and are not distributed as free samples.

Can I get a refund?+

Your statutory rights are set out in full in our Refund & Withdrawal Policy. Beyond those rights, we look at any case where the service did not work as described.

Billing country and applicant route

Where you are, and how you apply.

Do EU consumers have withdrawal rights?+

EU and EEA consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because access to digital content is opened immediately after payment, we ask at checkout for your express consent to that immediate supply and for your acknowledgement that it affects the withdrawal right. The full position, including what happens if you do not give that consent, is set out in our Refund & Withdrawal Policy.

How are EU / EEA and Non-EU users handled?+

EU/EEA and Non-EU information is used to explain billing-country context, consumer rights, withdrawal rights and applicant-route guidance. It is not used as a currency switch. See EU / EEA access information or international access information.

What is the difference between billing country and applicant route?+

Billing country affects consumer-law and access information. Applicant route affects admissions guidance, such as whether you apply through an EU/EEA or Non-EU category. These may not always be the same. If you are not sure, see Not Sure Which Access Route Applies?

Tracks and exams

Which preparation applies to you.

Is this only for IMAT?+

No. IMATNOTE covers the public IMAT route and the private medical school preparation tracks — HUMAT, San Raffaele, Cattolica, UniCamillus and Campus Bio-Medico.

Is HUMAT Preparation only for Humanitas?+

HUMAT Preparation is designed for applicants preparing for the Humanitas entrance route, including Humanitas Medicine and Surgery and MEDTEC applicants. Always check the official university call before applying.

Why are there two UniCamillus preparation routes?+

UniCamillus may use different applicant routes for EU and Non-EU candidates. The preparation pages are separated to help you choose the route that matches your application category. Always confirm your category in the official call for applications.

Can I contact you if I am not sure which track applies?+

Yes. Use the contact form and select “Not sure” if you do not know your applicant route, billing context or preparation track.

What we are, and are not

Independence and outcomes.

Is this an official university service?+

No. IMATNOTE is an independent preparation platform, operated by NOTESMEDIA OÜ. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CISIA, the Italian Ministry of University and Research, or any university named on this site.

Does this guarantee admission?+

No. The platform provides preparation materials and admissions-oriented guidance. Admission depends on official exam performance, application rules, rankings and university decisions, none of which we control.
