In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean NOTESMEDIA OÜ. “You” means the person using or purchasing access to the service. “IMATNOTE” and “Italy Medical Schools” are trading names used by NOTESMEDIA OÜ.
2. What the service provides
We provide online exam-preparation content for the IMAT and for the entrance examinations of Italian English-taught private medical schools. Depending on the plan you choose, this may include study cards, practice questions, a review system, and written admissions guidance.
All content is delivered digitally through this website. Nothing is shipped physically.
We are an independent preparation provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of CISIA, the Italian Ministry of University and Research, or any university named on this site. Always confirm official requirements, deadlines and syllabi with the relevant university or official body before applying.
3. No guarantee of admission or results
Our materials are designed to support your preparation. They do not guarantee admission to any university, a particular examination score, or any other outcome. Entrance examinations and admission criteria are set and administered by third parties over whom we have no control.
4. Accounts
Some content requires an account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the service.
We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these terms.
5. Plans, prices and payment
Prices for each plan are shown on the pricing page and are displayed again before you confirm a purchase. All prices are shown and charged in euro (EUR).
Payments are handled by our authorised payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details. Depending on your billing country, applicable VAT or other taxes may be added, and this is shown before you confirm payment.
Every plan is a one-time purchase that grants access for a fixed period. Access begins when payment is confirmed and ends when that period expires. We do not sell subscriptions: nothing renews automatically, no further payment is taken after the one you make at checkout, and there is no ongoing billing arrangement to cancel.
6. When access ends
Access ends automatically when the period you purchased expires. Because no payment recurs, there is nothing to cancel and nothing further is charged.
If you want to continue afterwards, you buy a plan again. Each purchase stands on its own.
Expiry does not by itself entitle you to a refund of a period already paid for. Refunds and statutory withdrawal rights are covered separately in our Refund & Withdrawal Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Licence to use our content
While your access is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our content for your own exam preparation.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publish, sub-license, or share our content with people who have not purchased access; use it to build a competing product or service; or extract it in bulk, including by automated scraping.
All content, software and branding on this site remains our property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to share your account with others, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, interfere with its operation or security, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We aim to keep the service available continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical faults, or circumstances outside our control may cause temporary interruption.
Our content library is expanded and updated over time. Individual items may be revised, replaced or withdrawn as examination formats change. We will not materially reduce the substance of what a paid plan provides during a period you have already paid for.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. This includes your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer, which these terms do not affect.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of opportunity, including any examination result or admission decision. Where our liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the plan in question in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes to the service or to legal requirements. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If a change materially affects an active paid plan, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in advance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We would prefer that you contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
