Language of study
This site is written in English for applicants everywhere. That is the language of the site, not of the degrees. Which language a degree is taught in, and which language its entrance test is held in, are two separate facts published by each university — and they do not always match.
1. What "English" covers, in numbers
These are four different counts. A university is not a programme, and a programme is not a campus: one university can run several programmes, and one programme can be taught at more than one campus. They are listed apart so none of them is read as the others.
- Universities offering an English-taught option
- 2 of the 27 universities that use TEST ARCHED for 2026/27. This says the university has such an option — not that everything it teaches is in English.
- English-taught programme options
- 3 of 36 admission cycles in total.
- Campus options for those programmes
- 3 teaching locations. Where a programme is taught matters as much as which university runs it: several are taught away from the university's main seat.
- English-language TEST ARCHED availability
- 3 admission cycles at 2 universities hold the test itself in English. This is a separate fact from the teaching language and is listed per programme below.

Every figure below is generated from the same records as the full catalogue and carries the notice it came from. Where a university has not published a figure, this page says so instead of estimating it.

4. The rest are taught in Italian
The remaining programmes in the 2026/27 dataset are taught in Italian, and most hold the test in Italian too. They are described on this site in English — the site's language is there to help you find and compare them, not to suggest they are taught in English. Each one is listed with its own test language and teaching language in the programme catalogue, and explained in full in its university guide.
If you are considering an Italian-taught degree, check that university's official language requirements directly. This site does not publish a certificate level unless the university published one, because those requirements are set per programme and are frequently assumed rather than read.
